Many companies want to advertise specific things for the purpose of that thing doing well.
For example, a company will upload a video to YouTube and then they will want to get a ton of views to the YouTube video as opposed to uploading the video right to Facebook, so that it will do better in general.
Is the point for that piece of content to go viral or is the point that you want your company to get more sales or exposure?
We need to stop thinking small. Companies need to stop focusing on numbers, like huge email lists, giant Facebook pages, and a large fan base on Twitter. If these people are really your customers then having just 1,000 is a huge amount, but if they were fake accounts then having a million isn’t enough.
We need to change focus with our Facebook ads and start thinking about what is good for the company, not what is good for the Facebook page.
How many times have you got caught up doing this very mistake?
