Final Thoughts on Email Marketing

After you have selected which template you want to use it’s time to start designing. Before I get there let me explain what you see in front of you.
On the left side you see what your email currently looks like. When someone opens their email this is what they will see.
On the right side you have three tabs:
- Content Tab
- Design Tab
- Comments Tab
We will go depth into each tab. In the content tab you will see all of the options you have to add to your email. The options are:
- Text- This is just a block of text that is automatically set to the length of the email (usually 600 pixels)
- Text Block- This is a box of text, you have the ability to change the color, and border color. I really like using this to separate sections. I would set the text to Header 2 and they act as really great dividers.
- Divider- This is a line that can be used to separate sections of your email. You can edit the color and thickness of the line, and also the spacing above and below.
- Image- No need to explain
- Image Group- A great way to put several pictures next to each other.
- Image Card- Basically the same thing as a Text Block, just with an image and text
- Image + Caption- Same as an Image Card, minus the box
- Social Share- This is used to allow people to share this email
- Social Follow- This allows you to link to your social media platforms
- Button- This is pretty ugly button, so I wouldn’t use this too quickly. I would advise having a button designed and just add it in as an image.
- Footer- Not sure why this is needed (assuming that you don’t delete the one that is there by default)
- Code- If you have a premade HTML email designed, then this is where you put it.
- Video- This allows you to easily add videos to your emails.
