After you have chosen the right campaign for you it is time to pick which list will receive this email.
(NOTE: You cannot have one email get sent to 2 lists at the same time. To email two different lists, after completing the email simply go to the Campaigns tab, click the down arrow to the right of the campaign, click replicate, and change the list you want to send to, then schedule the second email.)
The features available in this section make sending emails with Mailchimp really fantastic. It allows you to send specific emails to the subscribers that would be interested most.
Having an event in Houston? You can send the email just to subscribers there.
Have a list with some people that speak Spanish? You can easily only send the email to those people.
Want to offer a deal exclusively to 4 star people that have been on the list longer than 6 months? It’s all possible.
In fact, Mailchimp has a plugin, called eCommerce360, that if attached to your eCommerce store would allow you to send emails just to people who have previously purchased. Heck, you can even send emails based on which signup form the subscriber came from.
Everything is possible here, so use this to your advantage and test different campaigns with different groups to see how you can improve your marketing tactics.
