Under the preheader is the header (shockingly…). The header should include the logo of your company with a link to your site. It is expected that on your website, when you click on the logo it brings you to the homepage, every single site in the world has that feature (hopefully), yet, for some reason this isn’t a normal feature in most emails.
Why? Don’t you want your customer to have a smooth experience in email, as they expect to have on your site?
Your email and your site are essentially the only places where you control how the user interacts with your content. On Facebook Facebook decides, on YouTube Google decides, on Twitter…
But on your site and in your email you decide. So tell me, don’t you want your subscribers to have as clean and simple as possible?
So do everyone a favor, make your logo clickable, but more importantly make your content easy to read so that your customers can read it, isn’t that the point?
