Final Thoughts on Email Marketing

After you set up the subscribe form there are still plenty of forms that need to be edited. The most important one is the “Final welcome email.”
This email gets sent automatically to the subscriber upon completing the sign up form. You have 3 options here:
- Edit this email to say something more interesting, but the only part of the email you can change is the top text box.
- Send no email at all (by making sure the check box marked “Send a final welcome email” is unchecked.
- Turn off this welcome email and set up an automation email (we will go into this in the future), and make an email that actually allows you to track opens and clicks (why in the world do they not have this set up automatically for this email as well?!)
Also, remember, if you edit the header text on top by hovering over the text and clicking “edit” it will automatically change the header on every single form and email in this section. In addition, you may want to consider changing the subject of the email to something more interesting.
My advice is to go with option 3, but it requires a paid account, so it is not necessary, just better.
