User Side of Facebook Part 2: People needed to be Treated like People
When a Facebook user signs up for events or offers Facebook reminds them several times without you having to do anything. Remember this when sending people reminders that Facebook is already telling your followers, so don’t bug them about it. If you forget this and keeping reminding people it will probably frustrate them.
In addition, companies tend to lose focus when they see the number of likes they have, and how many likes or shares a post has. At the end of the day we need to remember that these likes are actual people, and they need to be treated as such. (This definitely happens when businesses run ads and they don’t see the results they want) Just because you pay Facebook money doesn’t mean people want what you are selling. Just think before you post “if I was a user right now getting this message would I enjoy this post or would I totally ignore it?”
Remember, people are people not robots!
