Today we will cover the last two features that we have left to cover when discussing editing snaps. The first feature is filters. Snapchat has several filters that are specific to your location. So if you are in a big city, at a big event, or at an important location, Snapchat has filters specific to these locations. After you have taken your snap you swipe right you will be shown this geofilter. In fact, Snapchat just announced that people will be able to make their own custom geo-filters for as low as $50. To learn more about on-demand geo-filters read here.
If there is no geofilter available swiping right will either play the snap backwards, fast, or slow. Then swipe again to show the local time. Swipe again will show the temperature, and your speed. In addition the there two filters that tint the colors of the snap.
The last feature is also the newest feature of Snapchat, they are selfie filters. If you hold the screen on a face the filters will show up. By swiping left each filter will automatically load, and the screen will tell you what to do to make the filter work, like open your mouth. These change every 24 hours so make sure to check them out everyday to see what is new.
We have now covered all of the features of Snapchat, tomorrow we will discuss the psychology of the platform, and how should use it for your business.
