Today we will cover 3 more features that you can use to customize your snaps. After you have taken the picture there are 3 buttons on the top. The first button is the emojis button. Pressing this will open a menu of tons and tons of emojis to choose from. When you choose an emoji it will be placed on your snap, but now the fun begins. You can drag the emoji to anywhere on the screen, pinch in to make it smaller, and pinch out to make it bigger. There are even people that like using emojis as custom filters (we will discuss these tomorrow) by making them giant, filling the whole screen then dragging them off screen so that their shadow covers the whole screen, creating a filter. You can also tilt the emoji as you please to fit in the exact place, size, and alignment you want.
Then next button always you to type. There are 3 versions of text:
- White letters on a black background. This text can be dragged up and down to be positioned anywhere on the screen.
- Giant white letters justified right. These letters can be dragged, made bigger or smaller, and tilted just like an emoji.
- Giant white letters centered. These can also be dragged, tilted, and made a different size.
To change between these three options simply press the Text button on the top and it will toggle between these three versions.
The last button is the paint option. Pressing this allows you to color in your snap however you want. You can cover the entire screen to draw a picture, or just draw arrows to get someone’s attention.
Tomorrow we will discuss the last feature of snaps, filters.
