Two Features in the New Update
So, now you have followers, and you have spent lots of time meeting the awesome people that are using Cyber Dust. But now you want to send out blasts, right? Blasting is exciting, it’s fun, it’s the cool thing.
The problem is that everyone is doing it, so when the average person goes to their blasts they have hundreds of unread blasts. No one has time to read all of their blasts, it’s impossible. So what you need to do is make sure that people will actually read your blasts when you send them out.
But how do you do that? There are three ways:
- Posting just as people are coming on, so that your content is on top.
- Posting often enough to show up high on the blast page at all times.
- Have such great content that people will search for your blasts because they know it’s good.
How do you do each of these things?
For the first one, watch when other people are posting. Cyber Dust isn’t like Twitter, you actually need to be on the platform to send out a blast. So, if a lot of other people are blasting at that time, then you know that means a lot of people are using the app at that time. So watch when others are posting on a daily basis and then send a blast and send your blasts about 10-15 minutes after them, putting your content on the top. (As a note, there is actually a way now to blast from your desktop, but most people aren’t using the platform that way. To do that, click here and login. Then you can blast from your computer, without being on the platform.)
The real trick to posting a lot is having good content to post. Find a few things that you can talk about on a daily basis and share one piece of content each day about it. There was a poll done by +cyberfeud a few months ago asking how much posting is too much posting. If I remember correctly the answer was 7 blasts a day, but the real answer is however many blasts you can make that are good content. If you have 10 interesting things to say, great. If you have 50, then they are probably memes, we already have enough of those… So each person needs to decide what is too much, but for sure make sure to post daily so that people will begin to recognize you.
Lastly, and most importantly have amazing content. There are people that haven’t been on the platform in months, or haven’t been posting as much as they used to, but I still remember their usernames and profile pictures months later, because their content was so good. If you are putting out good content people will remember you and they will look for you in their blasts, because you are worth reading.
